INTRODUCTION
As in other fields of industry, also in the fashion industry there are relevant laws related to the employment of people in this sector. This industry is governed by specific regulations, and it is worth knowing at least the most important of them. Employment in the fashion sector includes such key aspects as the right to decent wages, a focus on sustainability and a lot more. When deciding to work in the fashion sector, you need to be aware of the responsibilities and rights you have. As far as European countries are concerned, employment laws are basically similar, but keep in mind that it is crucial to familiarize yourself with these regulations before taking a job to avoid any future problems. In this submodule we will present the most important aspects hidden under the term employment law. You will also learn about situations related to employment law in the fashion industry sector in selected European countries[1].
